1. About Us

The Butterfly Wishes Network is a volunteer-led organisation based in the United Kingdom. We provide complimentary photography sessions for children and their families.

We are not a registered charity or company.
 

2. Our Services

We offer free photoshoots for children under the age of 18. These sessions are carried out by volunteer photographers and may take place in locations including (but not limited to):

• Family homes

• Hospitals or hospices

• Outdoor locations

• Volunteer studios
   

All services are provided on a voluntary basis and are subject to availability.
 

3. No Guarantee of Service

While we do our best to fulfil all requests, we cannot guarantee:

• Availability of a photographer

• Specific dates or times

• Specific locations or styles of photography
   

We may need to cancel or rearrange sessions due to circumstances such as illness, emergencies, or other unforeseen events.
 

4. Photography Requirement

Our service is based on providing photography sessions.

If a parent or legal guardian does not wish for photographs to be taken, we will not be able to offer a session.
 

5. Parental Responsibility & Consent

By applying for a session, you confirm that:

• You are the parent or legal guardian of the child

• You have the legal authority to give consent
   

We rely on this confirmation and cannot independently verify parental responsibility.
 

6. Image Use & Permissions

We ask for your consent regarding how images may be used.

Depending on your selections in the application form, images may be used for:

• Internal records

• Website and social media

• Promotional and awareness materials
   

You can choose whether or not to allow public use of images.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us.
 

7. Data Protection

We handle personal data, including photographs, in line with applicable data protection laws, including UK GDPR.

8. Volunteer Photographers

All photographers work on a voluntary basis.

While we aim to work with experienced and caring individuals, The Butterfly Wishes Network is not liable for:

• The style or quality of images

• Personal conduct outside of agreed activities

• Any independent actions taken by volunteers beyond their role
   

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Butterfly Wishes Network is not responsible for:

• Any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in a photoshoot

• Delays, cancellations, or changes outside of our control

• Technical issues, loss of images, or unforeseen failures
   

Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
 

10. Donations

We may provide links to third-party services (such as PayPal) for donations.

We are not responsible for the operation, security, or policies of these third-party platforms.
