Butterfly Families & Carers
WE ARE CURRENTLY GETTING BACK INTO SESSIONS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES
PLEASE BEAR WITH US AS OUR USUAL NUMBER OF VOLUNTEERS ARE NOT ALL AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.
WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO COVER YOUR SESSION BUT CAN NOT GUARANTEE ANYTHING DURING THIS TIME.
The Butterfly Wishes Network is here to help the immediate families of children with life-limiting or life-threatening illnesses. Whilst we have an amazing bank of professional volunteers across the United Kingdom, sometimes finding a suitable photographer can be tough.
We promise though that we will do our best to find you, someone, to capture your treasured family photographs.
If you are a parent or carer of a child with a life-limiting or life-threatening illness then please get in touch using the relevant form below. We have different forms for families & carers/professionals so please chose the right one.
Once you have filled that in, you will receive an email from us instantly with an application form. Please make sure you keep an eye out in your spam/junk folder so you do not miss it. If you do not receive the application form or have anything else you need help with you can email us.
How Do We Get Our Photos?
Your photographer will deliver your photos via a private online gallery
Do You Share Our Images On Your Website?
Only if you want us to. If you specifically tick the NO TO SHARING Box we will not. However, sharing images is how we show more families what we can do and it helps to get our name out there more.
Do You Keep Our Photos?
Your Photographer will store your images for a specified amount of time and if you want us to we will store them as a back up for you too. This is one of our questions we ask in our application
Is It Free?
Yes! All of our sessions are completely free of charge. You will be given digital images
Why Do I Have To Complete An Application Form?
The information we ask for on the application will help us to better understand your requirements and match you with an appropriate photographer
Will We Have To Take Our Child To A Studio?
Not unless you want to, you and your photographer will organise a convenient location for you all.
My Child Is Over 18, Can They Still Have A Session?
Unfortunately No, All of our sessions are for children under the age of 18.
What Are Your Child Protection Policies?
All of our volunteers are under strict instructions to never be left without parental supervision during a session. If a volunteer is left alone, they will remove themself from the situation and terminate the session with immediate effect.
